What is Malware?
Simply put, Malware is any program designed to cause problems.
Malware has become a generic term used to describe any form of malicious software.

First there was the stick |

Then, there was the computer.

Sometimes it was good. Sometimes it was not.

Then there was the Virus

Then came the Worm |

This was bad. |

Soon the Trojan showed up

Followed by Spyware |

Who brought his friends Shareware, Adware and HiJacker. This was beyond badder.

But, you don't have to give up. Take back your PC! These days, all programs that are designed to cause even the slightest bit of problem are have been lumped into one bucket and are generally termed "MalWare" which is a combination of Malicious Software.
