Do I have to use this Remote Control?
The RCA Remote control that came with your service is specifically designed to control the RCA Set Top Box and many other devices.
However, if you decide to upgrade to a more advanced remote, you may have to call the remote manufacturer and ask them to work out a code that will control the Thompson STB.
If you do come across a code that works for a Non-RCA remote, please drop us a line and let us know the brand name of the remote and the code it uses.
